My Dogs
Hello and thanks for checking out my personal dog training service. My name is Mike Uhl and I am a certified dog trainer who trains obedience for all breeds and types of dogs in central Iowa. After graduating from the Animal Behavior College in 2010, I have continued to add to my education through books, seminars, internet research and any way I can gain new knowledge.
I live in the country just on the outskirts of Ankeny and own two loving dogs, an English Cocker Spaniel named Sophie who is three years, and a Black Lab, Ella, who is a year. Having been a dog owner all my life, I absolutely love to train. Being an avid hunter, I've hunted with my dogs in Iowa and surrounding states for waterfowl and upland birds for the past 20 years.
If you choose to accept my assistance we will set up a time to meet and I will come to your residence, assess what you want done, and explain how I can help you. I will then construct a training plan and training will start at your home where your dog will feel more comfortable. My fee is $25.00 an hour with most sessions lasting only 15 to 30 minutes.
